1 Month Stats and Other Stuff

Two days ago, the last of our company went home. It was busy but a lot of fun seeing both Eric's and my family. They've all helped us out so much this past month, it's been hard to adjust to being home alone again. It seems like one of my kids is crying at all times. Wow, that was weird to say kids instead of kid. Lillie has regressed with her potty training and cannot seem to keep her panties dry. So, I've been doing a TON of laundry. Pretty much nonstop for 3 days. Hopefully she'll figure it out again really soon.
Henry is a chunky little fellow. He wants to eat ALL THE TIME, which makes it hard to tend to my 2 year olds needs and to get anything done around the house. But he is so sweet and cute and smiled at me for the first time yesterday, so I'm okay with his needyness. He smiled his first real smile at Lillie, which I'm not too surprised, he's been turning his head to her voice pretty much since he came home. She is really helpful to me and loves her little bro, sometimes a little too much though.
Eric is BUSY at school. He has really tried to scale back his amount of time at school to try to help me out a little bit, but it still seems like he's gone all the time. I'm proud of him for all of his hard work, he's got a lot to juggle. I hardly see him any more because he comes home around 6, then it's dinner and dealing with the two kids for an hour or two before Lillie and I go to sleep and leave Henry with Eric.
I cannot believe how much work two kids are. I am going nonstop. With all this chaos, I could really use some sleep. And I don't mean 6 hours in two hour increments. Henry can't seem to go more than 3 hours from one feeding to the next at night and so I'm having very LONG nights, with very little sleep. I'm really wishing Lillie still napped...

Okay, now to the stats:
Weight: 12 lbs 12 oz
Height: 24 inches

He was in like the 97th percentile for both his weight and height. We knew it'd be high, he's really chunked up over the past week. We've had to move to size 2 diapers and some of his 3-6 mo clothing is already too small. Ha ha. Actually, it's not that funny because he's only wearing his clothes like once before growing out of it and we've got about 100 size 1 diapers that we can't use. SOOO much different than with Lillie.
Also, since the hospital, I'd always thought that Henry's tongue had a funny shape. It was definitely different than Lillie's or ours. It was heart shaped on the end. Well, after a little deduction, we realized that he's tongue tied. Not terribly because he's obviously able to get enough to eat, but it does affect his sucking ability and explains why I had prolonged soreness and nursing difficulties in the beginning. Of course, my uber conservative doctor did not want to do anything about it, and really I'm okay with that for now, but if it affects his speech, then we'll snip it.

Welcome to my world, Carrie. If Henry is like my girls, he will fly through the sizes. Haylee wears size 5/6 shirts. The same size as her 5 year old cousin and some of the 7 year olds in my ward. Sorry about the sleep thing. Hopefully it will get better soon.
