Chunky Brewster
Chunky Brewster is my nickname for Henry. We went to the doctor today, he weighed 9 lbs 5 oz, a whole pound heavier than he weighed a week before. Not that I'm that surprised, he is ALWAYS hungry. He eats about every 2-2.5 hours and even then I'm holding him off. I know this is normal but Lillie ate every 3.5 hrs and even then she never seemed hungry. He's still a slow eater, taking about 45min-1 hr, so I am always sitting on the couch. I was thinking that he wouldn't catch up to Lillie's weight til he was 1.5 years old, but at this rate, it maybe more like 9 mos. Ha!

Fun Facts
In honor of Henry finally losing his umbilical cord today, I thought I would post a couple facts about him:
1. June 4th is a day of birthdays! Not only is it Henry's, it is also my nieces and also Henry's great-grandfather's. June's birthstone is a pearl, not very manly. Oh well, mine is a topaz, which is yellowish brown, not very girly. Henry won't be interested in birthstones anyway.
2. Henry has type AB- blood. This is the most rare blood type, only half of one percent of the world' s population has this type. The doctor said it had been a very long time since he had seen someone with that blood type. Kinda fun.
3. When my mom was here, we tried to do a little photo shoot. Everything looked so cute and I thought I'd gotten some good ones, but when I uploaded them, it turned out I didn't know where the lens was focusing and so Henry was blurry on all but 3 of them... here's one of the 3. I was devastated, cuz man, that was a lot of work.

Bouncing Baby Boy
Carrie and I went in for our scheduled 5am induction bright and early (or dark still actually) this morning. They broke her water at 6:30am and around 10:15 am they decided the doctor had better get in soon. Henry was born around 10:45 after only about 5 min of pushing. Mom and baby are both doing great.
