Ian at 9 Months

A couple weeks ago, Ian turned nine months old.  We are still staying at my parents house, trying to figure out what the best option for our future is, and it has been interesting now that this guy is become more and more mobile and busy.  In the past month Ian has started to crawl with his tummy off the ground and can pull himself up to standing.  He is still not very steady and so this has resulted in a lot of crashes and a few bruises.
He has transitioned to taking two naps a day.  Has started to wake up around 6:30, which I really wish I could get him to sleep in another hour.  He still likes spending time in the jumperoo.  He has developed a strong attachment to me and now cries when I walk away (not my fave).  He crawls toward the front door whenever it is opened and would give anything to get at the stairs.  Ian loves to open drawers with handles and often smashes his fingers by himself in the process. He is thinning out a bit and I think it is all because this kid is go, go, go all day.
Ian is now hardly interested in snuggling, although he still has a strong affinity to soft blankets and toys.  He holds his own bottles, likes to feed himself, especially corn on the cob and watermelon.  He has six teeth and loves to break off/tear off bites of food with them.  His favorite toys would be his stuffed monkey, cars (especially their wheels), construx, and legos left out by his brother.
Ian is still a baby that laughs very easily.  He loves being sung to, he loves playing peek-a-boo, and is crazy about his brother and sister.  He likes to spin my rings around my fingers and will sit there and do it for a long time.  We love having him in our family!
